Trapt Card

Trapt Card is an entry for the Imaginary Cards Jam.

The concept for this TCG is that 2-4 players are users of trap based magic and will duke it out to claim the title of Trapt Master!!

Each player will form a 20 to 40 deck of cards that will contain traps of various types, items that can aide them and spells that can be cast. They will then mix their decks together into a main deck and place cards face down connecting one another. Each turn players can do the following actions but also must flip a facedown card and resovle effects:

-draw a card from the deck. Put it into your hand and place the top card of the deck onto the game field or place the card anywhere on the game field, as long it is touching the edge of an adjacent card.

-Spells and items cards, four can be picked before the decks are mixed, can be played. Each time you reveal an item or spell card, add them to your hand (unless an effect says otherwise). You can use as many item cards but only one spell card a turn. These can range from dealing damage, switching cards around, flipping face up or down, lots of ideas to consider.

There will be plenty of bluffing, mindgames, strategy and most importantly; memory. If placing traps, you'll need to remember where the ones you placed or risk springing them on yourself.

Players will have Health Points, last one with HP remaining, WINS.
